Reins of the Blue Shado-Pan Riding Tiger

Reins of the Blue Shado-Pan Riding Tiger

The Blue Shado-Pan Riding Tiger is one of my favourite non-flight mounts.

Stockier and more armoured than their frost sabre predecessors, they are great for when you need to mount up, but can’t necessarily fly.

I consider this mount fairly easy to obtain, seeing as you don’t need the skill of someone who can solo the Spine of Deathwing on Heroic in order to gain access to it, or be reliant on the Gods of Azeroth (aka the Blizzard loot drop algorithm).

What do you need in order to obtain the Reins of the Blue Shado-Pan riding tiger is:

  1. to be exalted with the Shado-Pan Faction in Pandaria
  2. 500 gold

You can gain reputation with the Shado-Pan through a variety of means, but the easiest of which is through completing dailies at their faction HQ in the Townlong Steppes, or alternatively by grouping up with your fellow players, in order to take down Zandalari Warbringers and Zandalari Warscouts and calling dibs on all the Shado-Pan insignias that drop.

Remember insignias are those awesome items that you ‘use’ that grant you huge amounts of reputation (double if you have the commendation from that faction on another character).

If you are a mount collector – you’ll be glad to know that aside from the Blue Shado-Pan Riding Tiger, there are two more models you can purchase from the Shado-Pan Quartermaster which include:

Reins of the Red Shado-Pan Riding Tiger for 2500 gold

Reins of the Green Shado-Pan Riding Tiger for 1500 gold

Happy mount collecting!
