Kul Tiran Leveling, Stepping into PVP and Looking Ahead

Reset Day

I popped in
Did you guys know that there’s an item that allows you to upgrade your PVP dropped gear?
I had a Sinister Gladiators Maledict at ilvl 385 and today I got a token in my reward cache this week upgraded it to 395. It was a nice surprise!
I’ve always been a PVE player mostly, but it has been so much fun to dip my nooby toes into PVP and figure out strategies with my longtime friend and
I’ve been trying out some 2v2’s and 3v3’s and so far it’s been kind of hit and miss, but I managed to get 1400 on both, and am making slow and steady progress toward obtaining my first mount (lol 8%).
Basically, you only fill the bar once you’re above 1400, so any wins you get below that amount don’t count towards progress.

Patch 8.1.5 Unlocked Kul Tiran Humans as an Allied Race
With Patch 8.1.5 came the Kul Tiran unlock questline (providing you are Exalted with Proudmoore Admiralty) for Alliance and Zandalari if you are Horde (and exalted with the Zandalari Empire) and have completed both 8.0 and 8.1 sections of the War Campaign.
If you’re not sure of your progress;
I have missed having double-gathering on my druid since they became my new main (my hunter is now my main PVP alt), so I made a second druid (a Kul Tiran) to level for the heritage armour and ultimately to become my new gathering alt.
I love the heritage armour! Although I’ve transmogged it without the hat, shoulders or gloves (I used less bulky gloves) – but I absolutely love the long coat.
I thought it would be great to have 2 druids, my new main, the night elf, is Balance / Restoration and the new alt is a Kul Tiran Druid with Feral / Guardian specialization…but it turns out that this week, Kul Tiran now sims higher than Night Elf for Balance Druids, so my main has now become Kul Tiran too.
While
We stopped to screenshot the funny coincidence 🙂
Adventures in the Battle of Dazar’Alor
The raid team continues to chug along through Mythic Battle of Dazar’Alor and our most recent kill being Mythic King Rastakhan and great progress being made on our first hour on High Tinker Mekkatorque, pretty good shout to already be progressing on him, when we only raid 2 nights a week, as a hard rule. We’re all adults with
More Kul Tiran Leveling
So you know how your character is sometimes in cut scenes, or when doing quest turn ins and what not with the big lore characters – and your leggy night elf for some reason appears super tiny, next to say…Alleria Windrunner, who technically-lore speaking is a High Elf, and should, therefore, be much shorter than you, but because you (the character) are ‘insignificant’ are shown as much smaller?
Kul Tirans are large enough to solve this problem, as shown here next to Jaina Proudmoore in Stormwind Keep…finally! We’re tall enough to feature!
After Kul Tiran Leveling: To 8.2 and Beyond!
We learned at the Blizzcon What’s Next: Warcraft Panel that we’d be going to a place called Mechagon in 8.2- and when we were leveling through Tiragarde Sound we came across an area that didn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the zone. Remember the area with the mechanical sentry dogs (and the tameable robotic hunter rare)?
The cog in the
Well…
As of 8.1.5…
…there is a little gnome NPC desperately trying to open the door!
Little details like that, really heighten my sense of excitement and hype for what’s next!

What are you guys up to
What features are you most excited about? Crucible of Storms? 8.2 and Nazjatar?
Let me know in the comments!
My guild Flea Circus is working its way through the current raid on Normal settings we dont have a regular raid schedule so are happy to have got up to mekkatorque.
personally im working on the expansion reps on my dwarven deathknight although i refuse to fly all over the map to collect the champions or turtle emissary quests so its going slowly.
This week i cautiously started levelling my shaman through BfA after hearing the horror stories about the class in this expansion but ive been nicely surprosed so far. ( legendaries are still working at this point..)
I have recently switched mains, so aside from having brought my neck-level up to par, I generally only do WQ when I feel like it. Personally, I think a lot of the ‘hate’ that shamans received was uncalled for. We have a shaman periodically in mythic, and he dominates the meters, so I’m not entirely sure the hate was deserved tbh. As for the turtle WQ, they are some of my favourites! (Shell Game etc) I wasn’t as big a fan of Kirin Tor quests in Legion, so my reaction surprised me. Anyway – the thing I’m most looking forward to in 8.2 is flying! Then I’ll pick up on emissaries again.
