World of Warcraft Popular Movie References: The Neverending Story

The Neverending Story was one of those films that defined a period of time in my childhood.

It is also the first movie soundtrack that I first spent my own pocket money on, thus beginning a long and still continuing love affair with movie scores in general.

When this guy turned up on the Timeless Isle, it hit me in the face what a perfect metaphor for World of Warcraft this movie is!

A story that continues forever thanks to all of those who believe in it and participate in it.

This is the same NPC who sells all the pug accessories cluttering up my bag right now 🙂

Here’s a little trip down memory lane for those of you who remember The Neverending Story and it’s one hit wonder theme song…it’s still as good as it was 28 years ago. (OMG 28!???)
