Transmogrification on my Blood Elf Warlock

Transmogrification on my Blood Elf Warlock

Remember I talked about my current transmog or “mog” as we (cough)seasoned pros(cough) (I can hear my Alliance GM coughing the word NOOB right now) in this post about my blood elf warlock Nessalux here?

Well as is usually the case, as soon as I’ve blogged something, it’s right about the time I make a change.

I totally found some gear that I wanted my blood elf to wear (why does everything look so good on a belf, and awful on a pandaren?) Poor Bruuslee, struggles to look like he’s wearing anything but his stripey pajamas.

My first post about the need for transmogrification, was borne from the fact that some purchased legacy gear I had on Macnessa, just looked so hideous, that it was embarrassing to even run from the vendor to the transmog place- because damn you had to go past the Auction House, and that just felt too much like high school.

My second post about transmog was actually over here at Pretty Fly for a Draenei about needing to find a something to match the shoulders and robe I was sporting. (Incidentally, Legolene has moved on from that fashion dilemma and is currently rediscovering her naughty side, by wearing the Black Mageweave set, which is positively burlesque in comparison to her old mogs).

So there I was in Orgrimmar the other day, trawling the Honor Vendors looking to see what they had (after finally finding them) and pleased to find that they had some really cool *looking* stuff.

I double checked the same offers on the Alliance side – and I wouldn’t (well my characters) be caught dead wearing those things.

Here is what Nessalux was wearing before…

Here are some actions shots of what she is wearing now…action shot – casting!

Action shot: flying!

I love the headpiece. It’s one part regal, two parts hard as nails and altogether a little badass if I do say so myself.

Plus the glowing eyeball things on the shoulders swivel. MUY COOLIO!

Here are the deets for those of you out there with a penchant for transmogrification.

Note – I’m only listing the items that have changed since her last transmog.

Head: Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Felweave Cowl

Shoulders: Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Felweave Amice

Chest: Cataclysmic Gladiator’s Felweave Raiment

Staff: Medusoid Staff (this is just a little something I picked up questing in Vashj’ir  (I also have it on all my Alliance chars) – and while I’m not overly keen on the swirly octopus effect, it’s the only staff I had that matched the colour of the outfit. It will have to do, until I get my hands on the Apostle of Argus 😛 Anyone up for an old school raid? (yeah I’m lookin’ at you)
