Day 6 Your workplace/desk

desk

I have always loved computers, right from my first Apple IIe in 1986.  I qualified as an MCSE in 1998, and loved PC’s. I always had a good gaming PC that I’d put together from spare parts, and bought better graphics cards etc to beef them up. Then I embraced my creative side, and got into photography and graphic design.

No fewer than three PC’s blew up in the space of 18 months. They literally couldn’t handle the strain.

I got a little 13″ Macbook (on which I happily played Warcraft III), and about 2 years later, when toddler involvement meant that my Macbook ended up on the floor with a cracked screen, one insurance claim later, and awesome service from Apple meant that I got to upgrade to an iMac.

I cannot tell you the pleasure it gives me to play World of Warcraft on 21.5″ of LED bliss.

Yeah, I know I totally need to clean my keyboard, and dust my desk

As for gaming style I play using the keyboard with my left hand, and mouse in the right, and my right hand also darts to the numeric keypad when necessary. I have my commonly used spell configurations hot-keyed so that I can switch between dps-ing and healing for my characters that can do both.

Would anyone else like to share a picture of their workstation? I’d be happy to post it.
