Day 5 Your Favourite Item in the game
Do I have to have just one?
I have a couple…
There’s my Vitreous Stone Drake which only took two runs through Stonecore before it dropped *SQUEEE* (at this point I have to thank my awesome GM who practically solo’ed me through it (heh, who am I kidding he DID solo through it) and let me pick up all the spoils.
Then there is my Orb of the Sin’dorei that I had to run through Magisters Terrace everyday for three weeks straight before it dropped!
It’s this fun item that just sits in your bag and when you use it (endlessly reusable) it converts your image to a blood elf. I love using it in battlegrounds with my mage, because it converts her image to a blond blood elf, but if I cast my mirror image spell (the one that gives you four additional versions of you) they are all red-headed blood elves – which gives me an extra second or two to get away because its not instantly obvious that it’s not a different player.
The first time I used it (right after I came back from Magisters Terrace by portalling back to Stormwind) it turned Legolene into a redhead, but everytime since then it’s been blonde.
Part of the reason I love using it – is because of how delightfully bitchy they sound when they /silly /charge /openfire and /lol. It often gets me a ‘double take’ by some players in the countdown to a battleground.
I guess those are my two favourite items, but I have plenty more that I’m going for!
